After my lesson last week I got peers and Tutors to check over my block map, they told me the block out was a solid design.
Today we had to make sure that the block out we had made was the right size for the character and the world, therefore we imported our environments into UDK4
Here you can see my block out in the UDK game maker, the proportions are correct and you can see how tall everything is.

I then built my own lighting, I made the lighting from above at a slight angle.
Then I carried on editing my Models in Maya for my environment.

During this lesson my peers decided it would be better to do a curve cylinder for the slide compared to the flat way I was doing it, so I will be tweaking this in my next lesson.
For my skill set in Maya I am very happy on how it has turned out, next will be texturing. Peers and tutors have been telling me how to improve the bridge, to make the rope have more of a natural curve. And to also make sure I have the model looking natural before smoothing as UDK4 struggles with Mayas moving, I will be taking this into consideration and tweaking my models a slight bit.
