Today we will be learning how to rig for our FMP.

Here you can see my rigging the block out for my character, we did this as a rigging practise for when we get to our final model. Rigging included going to the rigging tools in Maya which you can do by changing the rop down box to rigging.

When we finally got the main skeleton done we moved onto making the paint weights. I found rigging and painting the weights very simple, the hardest part was rigging the feet and painting the weights for the torso, and adding the IV handles. Next week we will be moving onto practicing animating.

Jay pointed out that it would be difficult to animate without curves and advised me to add them, I will add them later when I start to animate with this blockout.
