This is the only steampunk environment I have chosen, I personally chose this image because I love the old mystical feel to it. Works well with the elf/Yordel style I have chosen, however a problem with this environment is that its inside and my character would suit better in an outside environment being an archer.

This was when I moved onto outside environments, first I looked at a village scene, considering her character trait is a drunken archer I believed she would be near a pub, and this is still one of my favourite environments, a little enclosed street with a pub and a few other shops. This one was closest to what I saw in my head, however I would turn one of the houses into a pub.

Next I moved onto looking and more open, pretty looking environments and that’s how I got onto the clifftop, where I would need to model less (which is good for me as Modelling is one of my low points) and focus on the horizon instead, with moving water. I chose this photo because it portrays the kind of environment I was talking about, with the horizon.

Then I decided to look at other ways I could show a pub, where I moved onto this treehouse type environment, where she’s outside. The treehouse being the pub to fit the elf/fantasy/medieval style. The character would not go into the pub, however.

Branching off the treehouse idea I thought of having two pubs, conjoined by a bridge in the treetops, and the character would be on the bridge, given room for the animations to be played, where I thought about physics of the bridge moving. I chose this image because the bridge looks exactly like what I was thinking, with the trees in the background to show they’re in a forest.

After looking at different ways to portray a pub scene I looked at Archery rangers as my character is an archer, choosing this photo as it sticks with the forest design I’ve been playing with. With an archery range being one of the common places an archer would clearly be.

Finally I looked at the bog standard forest clearing with a waterfall, a common scene seen in most forest/medieval games. I chose this picture because of the mystical feel I believe the picture has.
Personally the Environments I will be expanding is the Village scene, the Cliff scene and the bridge scene.
